OUR INSTALLATION PROCESS
Clozetivity of Chicago makes it easy and convenient to have the custom closet space you’ve always dreamed about! Here’s what you can expect when you choose us to design and install your custom space:
1. The Consultation - This is free of charge and you are under absolutely no obligation afterward. We will sit down with you for about an hour and learn about your wants and needs in a custom space. We’ll then take measurements and come up with ways to maximize the space to be designed. Finally, we’re certain we can give you the best price!
2. The Design - Typically, the custom closet process would take weeks to complete, but now we can use computer software and AI to create full-scale renderings for you almost immediately!
You can choose what features you like and get a price quote right away. This stage only takes one or two days with us!
3. The Order - Once you’ve chosen your design, we will send you a proposal via email or text, and you will pay your deposit.
Once we place the order, materials usually arrive within six to 12 weeks. All of them come from North America. When everything is in, we’ll schedule a date for installation!
4. The Preparation - You have the option of either prepping yourself, which saves you even more money, or having us help you, which we don’t mind at all.
If you choose to do it yourself, remove everything from the space, including existing shelving and rods, and patch any open holes. Do all of this about one or two days prior to installation, so the paint has ample time to dry.
5. The Installation - Our team will unload and set up everything. We will do everything possible to get started on time and work efficiently.
We’ll also make sure to clean up after ourselves. On average, one space takes one day to install, while more can take one or two days.
6. The Loving - Have fun with your new and customized space for years to come!
